Enhancements

– Usability overhaul: A more convenient, updated user interface which reduces the number of steps for the most common modeler and user activities
– Textual KBs: Enable use of modeler productivity tools such as diff, patch; take full advantage of SCM systems
– UI designer: Leverage point-and-click UI designer to rapidly prototype and implement G2 user interfaces
– 8 more enhancements in multiple G2 modules including GEVM, GDU, core G2
– Customer-requested enhancements from the Gensym Customer Survey Jan 2009

• Continuous support and quick turnaround resolution for reported issues
• An additional 50 issues resolved

New platforms

– Windows x64 support: Allows use of well over 4GB of memory and the more performant x64 CPU architecture

New Gensym offering

– Release of the new Gensym layered product Gensym G2 SymScale – Scale your application performance by taking advantage of multiple processors or cores

• Rigorous quality improvements in non-core modules

• Gensym G2 SymScale
– Enhanced release of Gensym layered product Gensym G2 SymScale – support for multiple processors or cores each supporting multiple threads; increased multi-core performance and reliability over last half.
